A Syrian national has been detained for allegedly killing a Lebanese man in Khalde, south of Beirut, over disagreements, the army said in a statement Friday.
“A gunfight erupted between a Syrian and a number of citizens over previous disputes wounded Mohammad Hussein Makke (a Lebanese). He was transferred to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds,” the statement revealed.
“Syrian Ahmad Abdul Latif Jamalo, who opened fire, was arrested and the rifle used (in the dispute) was confiscated in his possession,” it added.
